The issue isn’t whether people can rattle off the latest terms. The issue is whether any of this work moves the needle without sacrificing trust or creativity.

That challenge sounds clever. It also exposes a problem. We treat fluency in terms like MCP and AdCP as a stand-in for good strategy. It isn’t.

The Real Test Isn’t Acronyms

Let’s be honest. Many people can list “large language models” and “chatbots” without knowing how to use them responsibly. Buzzword fluency is not competence. The real test is whether teams can turn these tools into clear outcomes while protecting consumers from sloppy data use and weak creative.

The speaker’s line is a snapshot of the moment. We quiz each other on trends. We chase novelty. Meanwhile, the hard questions sit untouched: What problem are we solving? What will we measure? Who could be harmed if we get this wrong?

The hype cycle loves acronyms. Customers don’t. They want value, honesty, and work that respects their time and data. That is the only test that matters.
