Within the portal we uniquely blend our proprietary analyst commentary (c40 articles each day on news, deals, market data) with live global news (500,000+ articles monitored daily) – all indexed seamlessly against a visual “market map” of categories, giving true context to breaking stories and trends.

Our platform is sold on a subscription basis into strategy or business development teams – with user numbers varying from 2 in small VCs or recruitment companies to 150+ within mobile operators.

The Opportunity

We are now seeking an experienced business development professional to drive subscription business within large enterprises and advisory organisations. You will currently have a good knowledge of digital trends, disruptive start-ups and new technologies in order to establish rapport at CXO level – and an ability to communicate clearly the benefits of the StrategyEye intelligence product to their business development, investment and corporate planning strategies.

You will also be able to help create innovative new business development or marketing ideas, facilitate our executive Networking Events and also manage a small client accounts team in order to expand user numbers within existing clients.

Basic salary dependent on experience plus significant commission opportunity.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years’ directly engaging with strategy or corporate development individuals across the Digital Media industry

Successful experience of high level selling of strategic consulting or information services to senior executives

Proven track record of achieving revenue goals

Strong personal network at senior level in major digital media corporates and, ideally, VC and startups

Excellent presentation, written, communication and networking skills

Bright, articulate and highly credible – viewed as “trusted advisor”, with sound business acumen

Enjoys creating, developing and closing new business opportunities, and demonstrates high degree of tenacity and persistence to drive new business activity
