• PHP Web Developer

  We are currently looking for an articulate and ambitious PHP programmer with 3+ years experience developing commercial Web applications using object-oriented techniques to join our small team. Successful candidates will have strong experience in OO programming within PHP5 and potentially a background in Java.

  Developers should be able to work autonomously and be confident defining job specifications based on input from the user group, and must be fluent English speakers. The majority of development is within the LAMP stack, extending existing applications and new development work, and the successful candidate will fulfil at minimum the following criteria:

  • Ability to demonstrate a minimum of three years working with object-oriented languages and minimum two years using PHP5
  • Zend Framework
  • Extensive use of jQuery
  • CSS
  • Use of XSLT for XHTML generation
  • Exposure to web services (SOAP, XML-RPC)
  • Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL)
  • Version control using SVN
  • Developing against a Linux environment

  This is a full time position based in our central London office.
